ReSieve Help File
AVAST
Use My Computer to navigate to:
c:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast\Data
Find the "avast4.ini" file and open it with
Notepad. Scroll down until you find the line:
[Mail Scanner]
Highlight everything between [MailScanner] and ShowTrayIcon
lines. Copy the below and paste it in place in the Avast4.ini:
PopListen=IP-of-your-device:8110
Trust=IP-of-your-device
DefaultPopServer=IP-of-your-device:110
SmtpListen=IP-of-your-device:25
ImapListen=IP-of-your-device:144
(You are replacing everything between the [MailScanner] and
ShowTrayIcon lines with the above.)
Save the file.
That's all for Avast.
